The Need Of the Hour-Change of mindset

It seems that after the shocking and shameful incidence of Dec.16 2012,the rape cases in india has seen a upward trend.It's not just rape there are lot of other things also such as eve teasing,stalking,harassment both mental as well as sexual.So basically the list of crime against women is endless.Everytime i go through such cases i wonder,being a human the first question which comes in my mind is what is my role?Am i just supposed to read the stuff,be sad and then try to forget the issue by busying myself with  routine works.Now to be much narrower and more specific,once again being an Indian again i die a little everyday with the feeling of helplessness.So,i decided to write something so that at least i can reach to the people around and contribute my bit.Everyday newspaper is filled with such cases,why we are unable to stop it?Restricting my examples from today's The Indian Express.I was just going through the first pages and was really taken aback to read these two cases:
1.Stalked and harassed,Rohtank teens end lives,and American dream.
2.Militant shot her nine times,warned villagers not to touch her body.
In first case she was regularly stalked and harassed by a group of young man who followed them from her place to institute.The girl had scored 97% in her matriculations.Another girl was saving money to buy a t-shirt for her younger sister.Both shared a dream,a life in America,a world removed from Rohtank. In the second case one group Natinal Democratic front of Bodoland(NDFB) beleived that she means the 16 years old girl was a police informer and nine bullet shots were justified in her case as exemplary punishment.Shameful thing in  the first case is that the girl had complained to the father earlier but due to some reasons they did not made a police complain.In second case rather in both the cases it is a matter of shame that we are part of such a society where a young talent has to sacrifice her life,just because she is a girl.In both the cases a little awareness and a little amount of courage would have altered the case,the awareness and the courage on the parts of parents and villagers respectively in both the cases.Now everyone makes a fuss about these issues,there are millions of promises,several programmes but why it is still prevalent in the society? I find one possible reason and that is our mentality is to blame.Why do people consider girls as a chicken piece,why a commodity.There can not be a change without the change of mentality.Youths are urged to introspect themselves.You know where to change just try and make a better environment for your daughter or sons whatever it may be.Betterment is the need and Change in mentality is the way.

कुछ और पल ठहर जाते तो अच्छा होता कुछ और लफ़्ज़ सुन लेता कुछ अनकही बात सुन लेता कुछ और पल होते  तो ये ,वो कुछ और कर लेता कुछ और लम्हे साथ के होते कुछ और यादें बनाता तुम होते तो ये करता वो करता , कुछ और करता कुछ जानता , कुछ बताता कुछ सुनता , कुछ सुनाता कुछ और पल रुकते तो शायद हमलोग यहाँ चलते वहाँ भी चलते कई और जगह हो आता अपनी लंबी सी ख्वाइशों की पुर्जी भी थोड़ी और छोटी हो जाती कुछ और पल होता तो थोड़ा और जी लेता।

I don't know what is perfect time or moment I have not read or heard about it. I don't know anything about perfection May be it's all imaginary, a big illusion May be it's one of the intangible aspects of life. May be it can only be felt May be by many of us, may be not I don't know exactly what it is or it may be I just think that some moment in our life seems perfect it seems as if nothing else is required, No achievement, No rush basically nothing else except that particular moment. May be for me it is when I look deep into your eyes May be it's when i see my reflection in your dark pupils. May be when you embrace me and I can feel your warm breath around my neck May be it's your gentle kiss on my forehead May be it's one of our wild imaginations turning real. May be it's one of the most intense moment May be it's your mere presence in my universe that makes it perfect !!
